I’ve been digging into Goodmon’s case, and one thing that stands out to me is the condition of his abandoned Thunderbird. The fact that it was found stripped and filled with trash just a couple of months after he disappeared makes me wonder - could the vandalized state indicate something more than just random mischief? Given the car's distinctive maroon hood and dark brown vinyl top, it seems like it would've been hard to miss, even in a rural area. Maybe someone wanted to get rid of evidence or disassociate the vehicle from him entirely? Would love to hear others' thoughts on this angle.
Hey everyone, I've been digging into William Farris Goodmon's case and something has been bugging me. I read about how his car was found in a rural area in Manatee County and was vandalized and filled with garbage. Does anyone else find it odd that his car, such a classic and distinctive vehicle with that maroon hood, was just left unnoticed for so long? I mean, how does a car like that end up sitting there for two whole months before it gets towed? It makes me wonder if it was just ignored on purpose or if it was in a location that people didn’t frequent often. Also, the fact that it was partially stripped indicates that someone spent a little time with it. Could the area have been used for other shady activities where people wouldn’t ask too many questions about an abandoned car? Anyway, just throwing some thoughts out there to see if anyone else has considered this angle or has more details on where exactly the car was found.
