I stumbled across an interesting point about Jacques Gamache's case that's been bugging me. Did anyone else notice how peculiar it is that the sailboat was found 25 miles offshore with the sails down and out of fuel? I've been trying to wrap my head around it—if Jacques intended to vanish, wouldn't he have ensured enough fuel or left the sails up to avoid drifting aimlessly? It's like he had no plans to abandon the boat at sea. Plus, the missing duffel bags add another layer of mystery. Could someone have met him at some point, or were they for something else?
