I've been thinking about the supposed suicide note found in Atlanta Clark's condo. It's been almost 40 years, and I'm still puzzled by this part of the case. Why haven't the results of the handwriting analysis been released to the public? If the note was genuine, it might have offered some closure, or it could point to someone else being involved if it wasn't her handwriting. Does anyone know if it's typical for law enforcement to keep handwriting analysis results under wraps like this, especially when the case is still classified as open? I've heard before that family members sometimes request privacy, but wouldn't transparency in such a mysterious case help generate new leads from the public? If there's any more info on similar cold cases being solved by analyzing personal notes, I'd love to hear about it.
