On March 22, 2012, emergency services in Washington, D.C. found an eight-months-pregnant woman stabbed in the abdomen inside a residence on 9th Street SE. There were no apparent signs of forced entry. She was taken to a hospital where doctors performed an emergency Caesarian-section; the infant, Kuron Rashad Hunt, was born alive but died from a stab wound that pierced his mother’s torso. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the infant’s death a homicide.
The Metropolitan Police Department investigated and in May released video showing a person of interest, described as a Black male, walking through a parking lot and down a sidewalk. A reward was offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction, but no arrests or suspect identifications have been publicly announced.
Does anyone have information about that parking lot video or recall seeing someone who fits the description in that neighborhood on March 22, 2012?
