I’m so deeply saddened and angry about what happened to Coco and Brian. My thoughts go out to their families and friends who are dealing with this unimaginable loss. I was struck by how many lives Coco impacted through her work in overdose prevention. It's clear she devoted herself to helping others, and it's just so tragic that her life was cut short in such a senseless way. I've been thinking about the role that the dog played in the events that unfolded. It seems like there might be more to the story with the argument about the dog that included Coco and Brian. Does anyone have more details about what might have triggered the confrontation? It just seems so out of place and tragic that something so seemingly small could escalate into such a devastating event. If anyone has theories or knows more about how the argument, or the relationship between Coco and the suspect, could have led to such violence, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
