Just been reflecting on the bravery of Officer Moorer, and it's just tough to wrap my head around his sudden loss. Here was a young man, just 25, dedicating his life to protecting the community, and he was taken from us in such a senseless and brutal way. It's especially troubling that this happened on what should have been a safe space for him—his own apartment during a meal break.
I can't help but think about the surviving partner. To be caught in such violence and still have to face the future without someone you love is an incredible weight to bear. I hope they can find some peace and support amid all this.
