Has anyone else been struck by the fact that Randall's white kayak was found all the way down at Sand Dollar Beach, but there were no signs of him? I can't help but think about the tides and how far they could have carried him if something did happen. It's such a rugged part of the coastline, and it feels like the ocean might have taken him further than the initial search radius. I know the Coast Guard did an extensive sweep, but what are the chances he was taken even further out to sea? Given his serious health diagnosis, it’s possible he wanted to spend some time in solitude, but it just seems odd that both his belongings vanished completely without a trace. Could his health condition have played a role in the decisions he made or where he ended up? If anyone familiar with kayaking the area has insight, it would be interesting to hear if conditions could've explained why there's been no sign of him.
