Hey everyone, I've been following Brandon Lamar Middleton's case and can't stop thinking about the impact of this tragedy on his community. It seems like the Mosses Meat Market must have been a routine spot for locals, and for something so violent to happen there is incredibly disturbing. I’ve noticed there hasn’t been much said about the market’s owner or the other people who were there at the time. How are they coping with witnessing such a grim event? It must be incredibly hard to process something like this happening at a place you assume is safe and part of the everyday rhythm of life. Also, is there any info on whether the market has heightened security measures since the incident? I can’t imagine it’s easy to return to business as usual, knowing what occurred. My thoughts are definitely with everyone who knew Brandon and those who experienced such a traumatic event firsthand. Sending strength to them all during what I imagine is still a difficult time.
