Has anyone else noticed that Valente’s situation deeply unnerves them because of the dog being left alone? To me, that's such a big red flag. People rarely leave their pets behind willingly, especially if there are no signs of planning or preparation for a longer trip. The way the dog was found—looking like it hadn't been cared for recently—just adds another layer of urgency to the case that's hard to shake. It paints a picture of someone who had no intention of being gone for long, which really points toward something involuntary happening. It's baffling how little we have to go on despite the amount of time that’s passed. Has anything new ever come up regarding his activities or contacts in the days leading up to July 4th? Sometimes I think going through old local reports or asking around in the community again might churn up something missed initially. Thoughts?
