I just can't stop thinking about Jordan's friends and what they're going through right now. Imagine being a teenager and losing a close friend in such an unexpected and tragic way. It's so unfair that they have to process this kind of loss at such a young age. From what I've read, it sounds like the Selma community has really come together to support them, which is amazing. I hope they find some peace and healing in the memories they shared with Jordan. Has anyone heard more about how the school is supporting the students? It must be so tough for everyone involved.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the community's response to Jordan Javaris Lamar's tragic passing. It's been truly touching to see how everyone has come together to honor his memory, especially during such a difficult time. The Celebration of Life Service at the Selma High School Gymnasium speaks volumes about the impact Jordan had on those around him. It's a reminder of how important it is to support one another, particularly the kids who looked up to him.
I can't help but wonder about the effect this devastating loss has had on his friends and classmates. It's tough enough being a teenager, and losing someone close must be incredibly overwhelming. I'm hoping there are resources and counseling available for them to lean on. Remember, it's okay to reach out for help when you're struggling with grief. Let's keep the conversation going and make sure we're doing everything we can to support these young people as they navigate through this tough time.
My thoughts are with Jordan's family and loved ones. ? If anyone in the Selma area has more information on how the community can further help, please share it here.
Stay strong, everyone.
