Has anyone else noticed how peculiar it is that they found the word "HELP" spelled out near their car? It makes me wonder about the sequence of events. If Shirlee Weaver was already in such distress that she couldn't leave the vehicle, it must have been Candy who spelled it out, right? Could it mean that Candy tried seeking help after the car broke down, leaving Shirlee behind temporarily, only to get lost or face an unexpected accident? I'm puzzled about what went through Candy's mind and what might have happened after they hit that roadblock. It’s strange and unsettling that Candy hasn’t been found yet with all the searches conducted. Thoughts on why the search efforts might have come up empty-handed around the vehicle's location?

Has anyone else been following the case of Candy Lee Sturgill? One thing that's been sticking out to me is the location where the RAV4 was found. Mixie Flat Road is seriously off the beaten path, so I'm wondering why they ended up there in the first place. Does anyone know if this area was familiar to Candy or Shirlee? Was it possible they were trying to take a scenic route or explore new terrain? The fact that they were found so far north of Wendel is baffling. Also, with the "HELP" sign, it's clear Candy was trying to get someone's attention. It's been almost three years, and I can't help but think there's more to be uncovered about where Candy might have gone. Anyone have insights on the terrain or other stories of people getting lost in that area? Would love to hear thoughts.
