Has anyone else been reflecting on how often domestic violence incidents escalate to such tragic outcomes? The case of Carolyn Bennett is yet another wake-up call for all of us. I didn’t know her personally, but from what I’ve read, it seems she was deeply loved by her family and friends. It’s devastating to see the impact her loss has had on her sons and grandchildren. I can’t imagine the pain they’re going through right now. What's also deeply concerning is how these situations often fly under the radar until it’s too late. It makes me think about what more we could be doing as neighbors, friends, and communities to support those in toxic and potentially dangerous relationships. Not only sharing our condolences but also pushing for more resources and open conversations about domestic violence could make a real difference. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
