Hey everyone, I've been following the Alton Kent Johnson case and something that's been on my mind is the role of the bystanders—or lack thereof. There's barely any mention in the reports about whether anyone else was present during the altercation on Hearthstone Drive. Given it was early evening, you'd think maybe someone heard or saw something that could be crucial to understanding what led to that tragic moment. Does anyone know if the authorities are looking into witnesses, maybe canvassing the area for more information? I can't help but feel for Johnson's family and friends knowing this senseless act left them with so many unanswered questions. It seems the community is shaken too, especially with the involvement of a juvenile. It's terrifying to think about these escalating situations leading to fatal outcomes right in our neighborhoods. Hoping more details come out soon, and justice is served for Alton and his loved ones.
