Does anyone have any insights into the weather conditions in the Chicken Ridge area back around January 1995? I’m wondering if the rain might have contributed to Jon Dana Snyder's truck getting stuck, or if it was stuck for other reasons. Considering how remote and rugged that part of Covelo is, I can only imagine how tough it would have been to get out with a vehicle stuck in the mud. Any locals or weather enthusiasts who can shed light on what might have been going on weather-wise back then? Could it have played a part in why he left the truck there and disappeared?
