I came across Anthony "Amp" Jackson's case and felt compelled to write something. It's incredibly touching to hear about his aspirations to uplift the community and make a positive impact through his mentoring group, "The Winning at Life Group." What a testament to his character and dedication to helping others. The scholarship set up by his family for Parker High School seniors pursuing arts education speaks volumes about the kind of person Amp was. Despite all the tragedy they’ve faced, his family is channeling their grief into something constructive that aligns with his passion. What a beautiful way to honor his memory. But it’s just so disheartening that such a promising life was cut short, and over two years later, we're still waiting for answers. It's like there's a gap that desperately needs filling, not just with justice but with understanding. For his family’s sake, I hope someone with information can step forward. If you know anything, no matter how small it may seem, please consider reaching out to the Birmingham Police or Crime Stoppers. Let’s help bring peace to Amp’s family; they truly deserve it.
