Hey everyone, I've been following the case of John Simpson for a while now, and something's been bugging me about the investigation. Why is the San Juan County Sheriff's Office in Washington taking the lead on this when he disappeared from Morro Bay, California? I get that he has connections in Oregon and Washington, but shouldn't California be more involved given where he was last seen? It feels like crucial time might have been lost by not prioritizing where he initially went missing. Anybody else have thoughts or insights on why this would be the case? Maybe there's more to those connections in Washington than we're aware of? Would love to hear your theories or any insider info.
