Hey everyone, I've been combing through the case details about Jan Scharf, and there's something about her Ford Explorer that's puzzling me. I can't shake the feeling that its location might hold some hidden clues. It was found in front of a 24-Hour Fitness in Folsom, but there's no evidence Jan ever visited that gym. Does anyone think it was intentionally placed there to throw off the investigation, or could it signify a meeting spot gone wrong? Perhaps someone from the gym saw something and didn't realize its importance? If anyone has local connections or insight into places around there back in 2002, it might be worth exploring further. Let me know your thoughts!

I recently came across Jan Scharf's heartbreaking case and found something particularly puzzling. It's about her car, the tan Ford Explorer. It was found abandoned in front of a 24-Hour Fitness in Folsom, but there's no evidence she even went inside that day. It got me thinking – if the car was a decoy to throw off the investigation. The placement just seems too calculated, like someone wanted it to be easily discovered by a passerby. Oddly enough, it was just a day after she was reported missing. Has anyone else looked into whether any witnesses saw the car being parked there or noticed anything suspicious? Maybe there's something in the surrounding areas or security cameras that could have been overlooked. Every small detail matters, especially when trying to piece together how her Ford ended up there.
