Was anyone else struck by the amount of time it took to arrest Gamble after the shooting? I can't help but feel for Dejean Washington's family and friends who had to wait months before further action was taken. The fact that Gamble wasn't charged immediately after her arrest in Georgia seems puzzling. Given the circumstances and the surveillance footage, it seems like there should have been more urgency. I understand investigations are complex and need to be thorough, but those months of waiting must have been grueling for everyone affected by this tragedy. What do you all think? Is this kind of delay typical in such cases?
