Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the use of technology in some of these cases, especially like the ShotSpotter system used in the Birmingham case with Michael Arrington. It’s crazy to think about how this technology can instantly alert police to shots being fired and sometimes save lives. Sadly, in this case, it seems like the response might not have been fast enough to help Michael or the female passenger, but I’m hoping it leads to some important clues.
Does anyone know how effective ShotSpotter has been in other areas or if it’s helped solve any similar cases? I'm so frustrated that his family and friends still don't have any answers a year later. I really hope this pushes anyone who knows something to come forward. It’s terrible to think that justice hasn’t been served yet. My thoughts are with all of Michael’s loved ones.
