The more I read about Wesley Darrington, the more my heart aches for his family and friends. Has anyone else been thinking about how this case might have connected to a larger pattern in the area? I've been trying to sift through news reports and noticed a few incidents involving gun violence around the same time in Mobile. I can't stop thinking about the timing around the events of July 31st. It really makes me wonder about Lanell Gano's whereabouts and actions leading up to the shooting. Was this something premeditated, or did emotions just spiral out of control? There are just so many layers here.
Also, it's chilling to think about what Wesley was doing that morning, just hours before everything changed forever. A young man at 21, with his whole life ahead of him... It's absolutely devastating for his family and friends. Attending his funeral must have been incredibly tough for those who loved him.
