Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of DeAnthony Latrell "Zip" Elston closely. I can't imagine what his family and friends are going through right now. What really stands out to me is the seemingly stalled investigation. It's been over two years, and still no arrests. The community needs to come together to help bring justice for Zip. I’m curious if there’s been any talk about the effectiveness of the $1,000 reward offered by Central Alabama Crime Stoppers. I've seen in some other cases that increasing the reward or getting more media attention can sometimes shake loose some new information. Has there been any updates or community movements to expand those efforts? It must be incredibly frustrating for everyone involved that no solid leads have emerged despite the police's and community's efforts. Sending strength to everyone who knew Zip. I hope there are brighter days ahead and that justice will eventually be served. ?

Hey everyone,
I came across the case of DeAnthony "Zip" Elston again today, and it's still been on my mind since there hasn't been much movement. It really brings a human element to it when you think about the whole community he was part of in Sylacauga. From what I understand, Zip was pretty well-known around town, and I keep wondering about his friends and family who are still waiting for answers.
It's got to be incredibly difficult for those who knew him to not have closure or justice yet. I can't imagine the frustration and sadness they must be feeling every day that passes without any new information. I think it's crucial that we keep talking about it and keep this case in the public eye.
If anyone out there knows anything, no matter how small it might seem, please come forward. Every little detail could be a piece of the puzzle that helps bring some kind of resolution and peace to those who loved Zip. Sending thoughts and strength to his community and family.
