Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the details surrounding Treyvous Cobbins's tragic death and wanted to share a thought that’s been on my mind. Given what we know about his past and the tension between him and Antoine Thompson, I wonder if there were missed opportunities for intervention before the situation escalated so tragically. It breaks my heart to think that Treyvous's life, which had so much potential, was cut short over a personal dispute. In many cases like this, small towns often struggle with resources to mediate conflicts before they turn violent. Having access to intervention programs could be key in preventing these kinds of situations. Maybe there were signs or moments in Treyvous's life when support from the community could have steered things in a different direction. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones, who are dealing with such a profound loss. I hope they find some form of peace, and I hope the community can come together to learn from this and perhaps establish the resources needed to prevent future tragedies. Surely Treyvous's memory deserves that kind of legacy. Thoughts? Would love to hear if anyone knows of successful programs in similar communities. - Jenna
