Has anyone else been thinking about how crowded Dauphin Street must have been that night? It was New Year's Eve, and a lot of people would have been out celebrating. I keep wondering how terrifying it must have been for everyone who was just out trying to have a good time. My heart goes out to all the victims and their families, especially to Jatarious "RED" Reives' loved ones. It's so unsettling to think that a celebration could turn into such a tragedy in a split second. The community rallying for answers and justice is a small comfort, but I hope it brings some peace to those affected. The randomness of these acts and the pain they cause are just so hard to comprehend. Keeping everyone in my thoughts.
