I find it really frustrating that cases like Virgil Wood's still remain unsolved after so many years. It's a painful reminder of how violent crime tears apart families and communities. I can't imagine what Virgil's loved ones have been through, knowing the person responsible is still out there. Sadly, this is just one of many cases in 2014 that need closure. It's hard to see these reports talking about community involvement and public assistance, and yet these cases seem to just fade into the background over time. The fact that there’s a $25,000 reward being offered shows the MPD is serious about catching whoever did this, but it seems like they’re still looking for that crucial piece of information. Does anyone know if there have been any recent developments, or if the MPD has made any significant progress? It feels like someone must know something. Even the smallest detail could make a difference. Let's keep Virgils's memory alive and keep talking about this. By spreading the word, we might reach someone who knows something. Sending whatever support I can to his family.
