It’s really disturbing to think about how someone could target Andrew while he was just sleeping in his own home. The fact that several apartments were hit makes me wonder if the shooter was aiming specifically at him. Does anyone have any insights on why someone might go to such lengths? It is so unsettling to think this is still unsolved.
Gilliam’s achievements are nothing short of extraordinary. Being recognized for work on the Artemis I mission says a lot about his dedication and talent. Losing such a vibrant individual in the most senseless way leaves such a void not only in his personal circle but also in the professional community. I can only imagine how his colleagues and family feel without knowing why this happened or who is responsible.
Hoping for a break in the case soon. It's a small comfort, but justice is something Andrew’s family deserves alongside any peace they can find. If anyone has any theories or additional details, please share them here.
It's so unsettling to think about how a good person like Andrew Gilliam could just be taken from this world in such a senseless act. I was reading about his contributions to NASA and the Artemis I mission. It's astounding how someone so talented and dedicated to advancing our understanding of space is now gone because of something so brutal and seemingly random. I can’t even imagine what his friends, family, and colleagues must be going through right now.
This case has so many unanswered questions. How could nobody have seen or heard anything at 3 a.m.? Is it possible the shooter had the wrong target, or was there more to his life that we just don't know about? It's frightening how little information has come out and equally distressing to know the person responsible is still out there somewhere.
My heart goes out to his family. Just reading about Andrew’s life and achievements makes it clear that the world lost a genuinely bright star. I hope someone comes forward with information soon and that they find the justice they deserve.
