Christopher Gerhard Baisley, 40, was last seen in Fairbanks, Alaska, on December 7, 2022, at his workplace, a local Walmart. That day he wore a brown Carhartt jacket and a dark gray winter hat. Friends called him Chris and noted distinctive tattoos, including a large backward-lettered chest tattoo and one on his forearm.

No report was made for weeks; he was not reported missing until January 30, 2023, leaving a nearly two-month gap that has complicated the inquiry. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches, about 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Known as an avid outdoorsman who lived on Chena Ridge, investigators have considered the possibility he went hiking near home, and there has also been mention that he might have traveled to New York for unknown reasons.

Does anyone who knew Chris or saw him in Fairbanks in December 2022 have information that could help locate him?
