I've been thinking a lot about the community's role in supporting families affected by tragedies like the one we saw with Amaree’ Jackson. It's just awful to think about how his loved ones must be feeling right now, and it makes me wonder what kind of support networks are in place for them during this incredibly difficult time. Do we know if there are any local groups or city-led initiatives in Montgomery that help families cope with the aftermath of such violent events? Also, I'm curious about how the local community is rallying around them—are there any vigils or memorials planned? It feels important for us, as a community, to come together and show our support, not only in the immediate aftermath but in the long term as well. And while the legal process moves forward, hopefully, the family is getting the emotional support they need. Anyone have thoughts or updates on this aspect?
