I’ve been thinking a lot about the investigators working on Anastasia Gilley’s case. They must be under an immense amount of pressure, especially knowing the impact this has had on her family and the community. I really hope they have access to all the resources and support they need to piece together what happened. It’s scary to think that someone like McCloud, with such a violent past, was able to slip through the cracks. I can’t imagine how her loved ones are handling this news. Would love to hear what others think about the role of the justice system here and what more could be done to prevent cases like this from happening in the future.
