I can't stop thinking about Tara's case and how it highlights the severe impact of domestic violence. It's terrifying to think that she reached out for help multiple times only to find herself in such a tragic situation. I'm curious if local authorities or other support networks attempted to intervene after her cries for help. Did they ever manage to offer her any tangible support, or did she fall through the cracks? It breaks my heart knowing that she might have tried to find help just days before her murder. We should hold communities accountable to ensure there are safety nets and proactive measures for victims of domestic abuse so this doesn't happen again.
