I just can't stop thinking about Victoriano Flores and how his story has really stirred everyone around here, myself included. As someone who's lived in Montgomery for years, it's just so jarring to see such violence affecting our youth. I recently came across a piece of news that the community is rallying for more youth programs. I genuinely hope that this tragedy becomes a catalyst for change. It’s so important to focus on interventions that might prevent others from experiencing this kind of pain. Victoriano deserved so much more than this senseless act of violence, and so do all of our kids. It’s critical for us as a community to come together, realign our focus, and push for positive change before we lose another young soul. What steps do you think we should be taking to ensure this doesn’t happen again?
It's so saddening to hear about Victoriano Flores and the impact his tragic death has had on the Montgomery community.
