I was digging through some old newspapers online and about Jim Komorowski's case, and I stumbled upon something curious. It seems unclear why Jim was last seen at Monterey Harbor, of all places. I've read other accounts where sailers usually chat with each other at these docks or grab something quick to eat before heading out. Did anyone hear if he mentioned where he planned on docking next or if he had any specific route planned out? It just strikes me as odd that none of the harbor locals reported anything like that. If anyone has any connections with the sailing community around Monterey or nearby, it would be interesting to know if he said anything to them before setting sail. Even the smallest detail could help piece together his journey.
