While sifting through old case files, I stumbled upon James Richard Johnson's missing person case and noticed something intriguing about the timing of his disappearance. He last spoke with his mother on Christmas Day from Los Angeles, but he hadn't been seen at his home in Scottsdale since February. That's nearly a full year without any in-person contact! It’s unusual for such a long gap—did he usually check in regularly? I can’t help but wonder what was going on in his life during that time. Was he traveling or perhaps staying under the radar for some reason? With his mental disabilities in play, it makes me think he might have been more vulnerable during those months. It's frustrating how little information is available. Does anyone have insight into what his social circle or daily life was like back then?
Does anyone know if there's ever been a connection made between Jimmy's disappearance and any other missing persons cases from that time in LA? I've been reading up on the circumstances and can't shake the feeling that there might be similarities with a few other cases I've read about from that era. It almost feels like there was something happening in the area at that time that went unnoticed or underreported. Maybe it's a long shot, but has this angle ever been explored by investigators or mentioned by anyone familiar with his case? Just a thought—it's been so long, and any overlooked connections might just bring new insights. Would love to hear if anyone else has considered this too.
