I’ve been following the tragic events unfolding in Montgomery, and I can’t stop thinking about Dewane Wooten's case. It’s such a devastating situation for his family and friends. What really sticks out to me is the timing and location of the shooting on Riverside Road. That area is generally pretty busy, and it’s unnerving that something like this could happen there. It makes me wonder about the kind of risks people are facing living in their community day to day. It’s also a reminder of how important it is to hear from locals who might have seen or heard something that day. Has anyone noticed any increased police presence since the incident? From what I’ve read, the community has been quite rattled, not just by Dewane's tragic death but by the violent events that weekend in general. It would be reassuring to know that there are measures being taken to help the neighborhood feel safer again. My thoughts are with Dewane's loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
