Has anyone else been really struck by the response of the community in the wake of Marcus Henderson’s death? It sounds like he had such a positive impact on so many people in Montgomery. I've been reading about the community's efforts to come together and push for meaningful change in the city. While this tragedy is unfathomably painful, it's inspiring to see how it has galvanized local leaders and residents to seriously address the issue of violence. Initiatives for conflict resolution and intervention programs are definitely steps in the right direction. It's refreshing to see people not just calling for change but actively working towards it. Marcus was clearly loved, and I hope these efforts honor his memory and help protect others from suffering a similar fate.
