Has anyone else been thinking about how Kevin Shark’s barbershop must have been a real gathering place for the community? It’s so upsetting to think that a space meant for connection and lighthearted conversations can be shattered by such a senseless act. Hearing about his murder really makes you reflect on how fragile life can be. I passed through Selma not long ago, and I can only imagine how the local community is feeling right now—so many people must have relied on Kevin, not just for a haircut but for camaraderie and support too. I hope the Selma community finds strength in each other as they seek answers and try to heal from this tragedy. Anyone else from the Selma area feel the same way?
