I've been thinking a lot about the safety concerns around the area where Demetrus Porter was shot. It's so tragic to think he was just walking down East Patton Avenue, and then this nightmare happened. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends are going through right now. I really hope the community comes together to help the police with any leads. There have been too many of these incidents lately, and it's alarming. Let's not forget Demetrus and do what we can to make these neighborhoods safer. Has anyone heard anything new from local sources or seen any community response efforts to push forward this investigation? Hey everyone, I couldn't stop thinking about the incident involving Demetrus Porter on East Patton Avenue. It’s so surreal how, within the span of a few days, life can change so dramatically.
