I’ve been following AJ Colvin's case closely, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. It's tough to wrap my head around the fact that someone so young had to face such a tragic end. I’ve been thinking about how the loss of a classmate impacts a school community, and I'm wondering if anyone has insight into what Selma High School is doing to support the students right now? We're talking about teenagers who are at such a vulnerable stage in life, and something like this can really take a toll. Are there counselors on site, and are they holding any assemblies to address this? It’s crucial that they have a space to process what’s happened and support each other through such a difficult time. Sending my love and thoughts to everyone affected by this tragedy.
