Did anyone else catch the recent community gathering in Tuskegee to honor Kendarius Beason's memory? I heard it was a powerful tribute, with so many people dedicating time to celebrate his life and talk about preventing future tragedies like this. It's moments like these that remind us of how tightly-knit small communities can be, coming together to support one another in tough times. I feel for his family and friends who are undoubtedly facing the hardest days of their lives. It's amazing to see everyone come together to discuss ways to address gun violence and help prevent another senseless loss. If anyone attended, I'd love to hear more about it—especially any stories shared about Kendarius. It's important we keep his legacy alive while also taking action to ensure our communities are safer.
