Just stumbled across something curious about the phone calls that Chris's dad received. Has anyone else considered the possibility that the calls might have been intentionally misleading to divert the investigation? I mean, who makes those kinds of confessions on anonymous calls without expecting some kind of fallout? This case is maddeningly filled with twists. The connection to the cannabis industry and the timing seems way too calculated.
Also, wondering what kind of resources were available back then to trace these kinds of calls. With advancements in tech, could there be a chance to revisit those old leads with new tools? Interested in hearing your thoughts on whether old tech might've missed something crucial back then.
Does anyone else think it’s odd how Ben Lomax was right there with Rebecca and a lawyer when she reported Chris missing? I mean, it was only two days after he vanished. That’s super quick for "just a business associate," right? Some might see it as responsible, but for me, that raises a lot of red flags. Why bring a lawyer unless you expect trouble or maybe had something to hide?
I can't help but wonder what the vibe was like among them. Were they genuinely concerned for Chris, or did it feel more calculated? Has anyone looked into the nature of Rebecca and Ben's relationship, considering they showed up together like that? Something feels off, and I'm curious about others’ thoughts on this part of the case.
