Does anyone remember the efforts made by Paulo's friends and family in the aftermath of his disappearance? There was a local group in Newport Beach that distributed flyers and organized searches, but I haven't seen much discussion about their role. I recall hearing they coordinated several search parties in the early days, focusing mainly on the areas near the nature preserve and other spots Paulo liked to visit. It's impressive how determined they were to bring him home, despite the odds and the emotional toll it must have taken on them. If anyone has any updates on what they're doing now, I'd love to know how they're holding up and if they're still looking for closure. Also, just curious, has there been any media coverage or annual events to keep Paulo's case in the public eye? It just seems so important to maintain visibility for missing persons cases like his.
