Did anyone else find it odd how Richard used so many different excuses for Marcia's absence over the months? I mean, allergies, vacation, separation—it's quite the range. It feels like a classic case of trying to over-explain. Maybe he thought giving various stories would throw people off, or perhaps he just didn't anticipate neighbors would talk to one another. It's surprising the neighbors didn't connect the dots sooner, but I guess it's easy to assume the best in such situations. Just goes to show how important community awareness is when something seems off. What do you all think? Did his excuses raise flags for anyone here?

I was just doing a bit of digging into the Forsberg case and couldn't shake this one detail—has anyone else noticed the eerie pattern of isolated locations and camping? Richard took Marcia's remains to Lake Piru, which gives me chills given its remote and isolated nature. It makes me wonder what kind of places might attract someone looking to hide something. The fact that he thought a campfire was a suitable way to destroy evidence is telling in itself. It's a morbid aspect, for sure, but do you think he planned this out beforehand considering the choice of location, or was it just an impulsive decision made under stress? Would love to hear your thoughts!
