Hi everyone, I recently came across Ronald Leonard Farrell's missing persons case from 1999, and one detail that stands out to me is his eagerness to walk 100 miles a month. It's impressive for anyone, let alone someone in their 60s! This being his regular routine might mean he felt very comfortable and familiar on foot, which makes his disappearance even stranger given he wasn’t inexperienced or lost easily. Has anyone looked into the possibility of someone recognizing him from these walks? Lifelong routines could have allowed him to build relationships, even if just acquaintanceship, with other regulars or store owners in the area. Maybe someone saw something out of the ordinary on that day? Just trying to piece together where he might have gone or who he could have encountered on his route. Thoughts appreciated!
