Has anyone else come across that post about Louis Charles Ernst III possibly going on a night kayak trip before he vanished? It's bothering me that there’s hardly anything official about this kayak detail, but someone mentioned finding his kayak near Baker Beach. I wonder if any of the local news reports or updates have covered this angle, or if it's just floating around on social media. I feel like these unofficial bits, even when unconfirmed, could be crucial in piecing together what might have happened. Does anyone know if there have been any efforts by independent search groups in that area around the time he disappeared?

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Louis Charles Ernst III case and stumbled upon something intriguing. Has anyone else noticed there hasn't been any follow-up on that alleged kayak trip from his friend’s social media post? I’m curious if law enforcement ever retrieved or analyzed that kayak. If it actually did wash ashore at Baker Beach, there might be some forensic evidence left, right? Also, Baker Beach seems pretty far from where he was last seen in Sausalito—it makes me wonder about the currents and tides at that time. Does anyone here have more insight or local knowledge about the area that could shed light on how plausible it is for a kayak to drift that far? Balancing hope and reality is tough, but thinking through these details might unearth something new.
