Hey everyone,
I was just reading about the tragic case of Lawrence Carter, and something that struck me was the location of where it all happened. 1st Street NW is typically pretty quiet, especially at that hour. It's so unsettling to think that this could happen in a place where people might feel relatively safe. It makes me wonder about possible witnesses—was there anyone around who might’ve seen something unusual or out of place?
I’m hoping that with the MPD’s reward incentive, maybe someone will come forward with information. It just seems so crucial for anyone who might’ve been nearby to think back and try to recall if they noticed anything odd, no matter how small it seemed at the time.
