Has anyone looked into the possibility that Manolo Cruz might have been headed towards a specific destination beyond Blythe, maybe even out of California altogether? I remember reading that people with Alzheimer's can sometimes revert to old memories and routines. Is it possible he was trying to reach a place he used to know well, perhaps a location significant to him from decades ago? It just struck me as strange that the last known transaction was at a gas station so far from home. If he was following some kind of old, ingrained habit, maybe revisiting locations from his past could yield more clues. Let's keep brainstorming and see if we can connect any more dots.

Has anyone else thought about the Blythe gas station sighting? Given that Manolo Cruz had Alzheimer's, the fact that he ended up 200 miles away from home is unsettling, but it might just be telling us something. It looks like he made it to Blythe, which means he drove quite a ways without being detected. Do you think he was simply confused and driving aimlessly, or could there have been a specific place or person he was trying to reach out there, maybe something from his past? I wonder if there are any connections or memories of his from that area. If anyone has insights or local knowledge about Blythe, it could help us piece together what he might have been thinking.
