Wow, just came across this case and can't help but wonder about that massive amount of money that vanished. It seems really odd that both the $25,000 from his safe and the $48,000 in checks were taken so close to each other. I'm thinking whoever did this definitely knew their way around his personal affairs. What if Cruz confided in someone he trusted about his financials and that person turned against him? It’s strange how someone knew the combination to his safe and managed to cash those checks. It feels like this person had a lot of inside knowledge. I find the change of address to Texas baffling too—is it possible someone intentionally tried to throw law enforcement off the trail by linking it to Cruz’s birthplace? This case is such a tangled web, but I hope they uncover the truth soon. What do you all think?

I’ve been following Tony Cruz’s case for a while now, and something that's been sticking out to me is the vehicle crossing the border. Does anyone know if there’s been any identification of the car’s license plate or the other men? It just seems odd that there’s no definitive ID on them after all these years. And I’m puzzled as to why the car came back to the U.S. without him—were the men ever questioned? I'm also curious if anyone's looked into the possibility of a connection to his military background or former job at the North Island Naval Air Station. Could he have had any links that would explain such a drastic disappearance?
