I was reading through some of the old threads about Jack Leon Cooper and something caught my attention regarding the boat capsizing incident. It seems like the weather that day was slightly rougher than usual for Salmon Creek, with reports of strong winds and choppy waters. I wonder if anyone has looked into whether weather advisories or warnings were issued that day? It might not change the outcome, but understanding the conditions could provide some insight into what might have happened when the boat capsized. Anyone here with knowledge of local weather around there during August 2001 who could weigh in?
