Jack Leon Cooper, a 70-year-old white male, went missing on August 23, 2001, in Sonoma, California. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as being 5'7" and 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

On the day he vanished, Cooper was fishing with friends at Salmon Creek Beach. The boat they were in capsized during the day. While his companions were rescued, Cooper disappeared and was never seen or heard from again. Investigators believe he drowned in the incident.
