I’ve been following the case of Tonisha Colter, and it’s so concerning how little information there is about her disappearance. I keep thinking about how vulnerable people can be when they're experiencing homelessness. Does anyone know if there were any local shelters or outreach programs in Bakersfield that might have had contact with Tonisha around the time she went missing in October 2019? Maybe someone there could have seen or spoken to her. It’s unsettling how someone can just vanish without a trace, and with so few leads, it feels like more could be done to reach out to those communities for any potential clues. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I've been following Tonisha Colter's case and something just occurred to me. Has anyone else been curious about any potential CCTV footage? I know Bakersfield has a decent number of public cameras around the city, especially around busy areas. It's possible that there might be some clue from footage during the time she was last seen. I realize this isn't always a possibility depending on when the footage gets overwritten, but it might be something worth looking into if it hasn't been already. It's frustrating not having more details on what the police have looked into so far. Does anyone have thoughts on whether this angle has been covered or how we might find out?
