Has anyone else thought about the peculiar timing of Harry Chinen's disappearance aligning with the unidentified man's tragic incident in 1995? I'm trying to wrap my head around why it took nearly 27 years to connect the dots. It's almost unfathomable that someone could go unrecognized for so long, especially following such a dramatic and public event. Was there no way to match the details of the missing person report with the unidentified victim earlier? It makes me wonder about the protocols in place back then for such cases and if improvements have been made today. If anyone has insight into how these types of identification processes work, I'd love to hear about it.
